Credit Guide

How Loomic Credits Work

Loomic AI features use a Credit metering system. When your team uses image recognition, translation, or AI Agent features, Credits are deducted based on actual usage. Credits are available on paid plans. Team owners can manage team Credits and set monthly Credit limits for each member, helping the team track AI usage and cost more clearly.

Before You Start

Every Loomic paid seat includes a monthly Credit allowance. The number of Credits varies by plan and seat type.

Team owners can:

  • View and manage team Credits
  • Set monthly Credit limits for each member
  • Purchase extra Credits when the balance runs low
  • Set up auto-recharge to avoid interrupting team usage

How Credits Work

Using Loomic AI features consumes Credits. Different features calculate Credit usage differently:

  • Image recognition costs 20 Credits per page
  • Translation costs 80 Credits per page
  • AI Agent usage deducts Credits based on actual consumption

Credits included with each seat reset every month. If your team exceeds the Credits included with seats in a given month, the team owner can buy extra Credits through ongoing subscription or on-demand payment for the whole team to keep using.

Credits Included with Seats

Every seat in Loomic includes monthly-resetting Credits. These Credits can only be used for Loomic AI features such as recognition, translation, and AI Agent.

Credits do not represent legal tender, cash, stored value, or any redeemable value, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Credits may only be used for designated AI features within the Loomic platform.

Adding Seats or Upgrading Plans

When a team adds seats or upgrades a plan, the change takes effect immediately.

The system only charges the prorated difference for the remaining days in the current billing period until the next billing date. Credits gained from the added seats or upgrade are also issued on the same prorated basis.

For example, if half of the current billing period has already passed when the team adds seats or upgrades, you only pay for the remaining half of the period and receive a corresponding portion of Credits.

Reducing Seats

When a team reduces seats, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing period.

Until the current billing period ends, purchased seats remain available, and the team can continue using the features and Credits included with those seats until the next billing date.

Buying Extra Credits

When team Credits are used up, the team owner can purchase extra Credits for the whole team.

Purchased extra Credits can be shared by team members and are valid for 1 year. After purchase, Credits are consumed according to the deduction rules when the team uses AI features.

Auto-Recharge

To avoid running out of Credits and disrupting the team's workflow, team owners can set up auto-recharge.

Once enabled, when team Credits fall below the set threshold, the system automatically purchases a specified amount of Credits. This helps keep AI features available, especially for teams with heavy recognition, translation, or AI Agent usage.

Credit Deduction Order

When a team has Credits from multiple sources, the system prioritizes deducting Credits that expire soonest.

This helps the team use purchased or plan-included Credits more effectively and reduces Credits expiring unused.
